Crop Production
The National Ag Statistics Service estimates there are 2,670 farms covering 1,037,000 acres of farm ground in the Wildcat District. On a wide majority of the acres corn, wheat, and soybeans are grown. Along with the three major crops, grain sorghum is produced as well as hay and forage crops.

Soil Samples
A basic soil sample is $11 to mail and process. Payments can be made with a credit or debit card,check or cash. Checks can be made out to Wildcat Extension District. Each sample should be legibly marked with the sample ID, location name or a number. Information sheets can be completed prior to sample drop-off; you can find the sheets by clicking the links below.
